Battle over Truckee River water drags on in federal court
In Reno Nevada the Truckee River water dispute pits the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe against upstream users led by Reno Sparks and ranchers. Judge J Blaine Anderson will hear final arguments October 27 on whether the Orr Ditch Decree of 1944 should be altered or left in place, a decision that could extend for decades.
