Canadian woman killed in Scottsdale crosswalk crash
Avriel J. Clark of Calgary Alberta died after a tractor-trailer struck her in the 4600 block of Scottsdale Road Friday morning. John Brown Jr. of Phoenix, driver of the Consolidated Fibre Co. truck, said brake failure caused the collision and he was not cited at the scene. Police report she died on arrival at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital at 11 35 AM.
