John Shaw Wins Scottsdale School Board Seat by Narrow Margin
Presbyterian minister John Shaw won the Scottsdale school board seat by 26 votes, edging dentist Richard Moffat 1994 to 1968 after Mohave County votes pushed Shaw ahead. Bacon and Studeny trailed, Mohave’s count gave Shaw victory, and the board will canvass results tonight at Paiute School with a possible recount to county supervisors.
