Prison escapees captured after overnight pursuit near Munds Park
Herman Ellis and Anthony Kozlinski, both from the Florence prison escapees, were arrested after a late morning chase on Interstate 17 near Munds Park. No shots were fired and no one injured. They were taken to Coconino County Jail.

Body sighted in desert north of Scottsdale under intensive search
Maricopa County deputies and two Department of Public Safety helicopters combed the desert northeast of the Jomax Powerline area for a body reportedly seen by two women hikers before 9 am. The search, involving about 75 personnel in 20 Jeeps and 30 horses, followed initial reports and shifting details about the body's sex and location.
