Trial delayed in slayer McInerney case in Phoenix
The December 2 trial date for Paul McInerney was vacated to allow mental competency testing after his attorney filed an innocent by reason of mental deficiency plea. Judge Paul W. Laprade ordered a 30 day stay and commitment to the Arizona State Hospital. McInerney, 21, faces murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon for the shooting of William Bolich, 16, and wounding David Bolich, 18, during a gasoline siphoning incident at the McInerney home.

A Scottsdale firm Western Floor Covering Corp was ordered by the U S District Court in Sao to pay more than 10 500 in back wages to 25 employees over one year The Labor Department charged the firm with violating overtime and record keeping provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act The Wage Hour and Public Contracts Division conducted the investigation that led to the complaint.
