Hospital chaplains aid anxious patients and families
Hospital chaplains at Scottsdale Memorial assist anxious patients and their families, providing spiritual support and linking patients to their own pastors. The department, led by Artha Howard, includes John Milkon and Robertson, who alternate shifts to ensure on call coverage. They visit new admissions, pre op patients, and pediatrics, offer Bible readings by patient choice, and maintain a small chapel with Sunday services.
