Desert Star proposes North Paradise Valley town by petition
Desert Star residents filed petitions with the county board seeking a special election to incorporate a new 12 square mile North Paradise Valley town. The 60 signers elect a six by two mile rectangle bounded by Bell Road Northern Avenue Invergordon Road and Tatum Boulevard with Century Country Club near center. Desert Star leaders include H E Clay and Scottsdale attorney Charles Ducky. Other Paradise Valley groups seek incorporation as well. supervisors must decide within 60 days with an election possible in December 1962.
