Emergency Relief Pilot Center Aids South Phoenix Needy
In south Phoenix the Emergency Relief Pilot Center at 807 S. 7th Ave serves as a public private venture to aid those not qualifying for welfare. Social workers from Catholic Social Services Salvation Army and ASU coordinate donation driven help with food clothing and supplies. They emphasize immediate needs while planning broader reforms to welfare programs and note the center relies on donated space desks and volunteers.
