Compromise Sought On Arizona Kindergarten Bill
The Arizona House and Senate named a joint conference committee on a state aid for kindergartens bill. Republicans and Democrats from both chambers will meet to craft a compromise as sessions push toward adjournment. Truck overturns injuring driver on Hayden near Roosevelt
Phoenix man Leroy Riddle 55 of 5711 N 35th Ave was treated at Baptist Hospital for injuries when his cement truck overturned while slowing for a car near Hayden Road and Roosevelt. Linda Ray 21 of Mesa was treated and released after also injured when her car was hit. Police cited Riddle for speed not reasonable and prudent. Scottsdale logged five injury free accidents that Tuesday at several intersections.

Motorola to take over part of East Phoenix plant
