The city awarded Tanner Brothers Construction a 314 797 contract to pave and improve streets in the East Main Improvement District downtown. Police reported two Scottsdale home burglaries yesterday. David K. Short said his 1913 to 1938 buffalo nickel collection valued at $23.95 and about $50 in cash were taken after a bathroom window was pried. Edward Eggling said $50 to $75 in currency was stolen via an open front door while he stood in the rear yard.
