Head On Collision Kills Somerton Man in Arizona
Stephen White of Somerton died in a head on crash seven miles north of Flagstaff on U S 89 Friday. John Judd, 23, of Tempe, was critically injured. A pickup collided with a semi truck driven by Vernon Cafai, 53, of Salt Lake City, who was uninjured. Arizona’s 1963 toll reached 102 on that date, up from 86 a year earlier.
