SRP to Buy Light Distillate Diesel From ARCO Field
Salt River Project will receive 660000 barrels annually of light distillate diesel from Atlantic Richfield Company at just over 10 dollars per barrel. SRP expects to use about six million barrels of oil in 1974, with at least half as lightweight distillate. The purchase supports steam turbine boilers. combustion turbines require distillate.
