Designers Workshop in Scottsdale Keeps Cottage Linens Charm
In a ranch house on Second Street and Miller Road, Designers Workshop sustains a playful non factory ethos. Seven staff produce tablecloths napkins runners and aprons from American made materials for retailers from Nieman Marcus Dallas to Lord Taylor New York. Lyman Tifft and Mildred Wilson built the business from an attic start into a nationally known supplier with bold designs and trims. Expansion remains unlikely as owners value flexibility and home life for their workers.
