Desert-born jeweler wins Swarovski prize for Desert Inspired Pin
Viennese born Alexander Mower of Scottsdale crafts desert themed jewelry on Fifth Avenue. He won $2000 for Desert Inspired Pin in Swarovski Arts Competition. the pin features a green tourmaline surrounded by diamonds and gold. The piece will be shown in New York and later sold in his shop for $2100.
