Planners Back Builder Now on Scottsdale Board
Scottsdale planners backed adding a building industry representative to the Development Review Board. The recommendation seeks a zoning ordinance revision to place a builder on the seven member panel, replacing the city engineer’s seat, giving public representation a majority. The board reviews architectural and site plans to align with the master plan and zoning rules. The Scottsdale Chamber had urged removing city staffers in favor of building industry reps. The revised ordinance follows that compromise.
