Mission hand-built church serves Salt River Reservation
The Salt River Indian Mission built by Rev. Eugene Jefferies runs a small self funded congregation of 20 at Alma School Road. He blends Holiness doctrine with a two stage grace to sanctification and conducts river immersion baptisms. Services are Sundays 10:45 AM and 8 PM with Thursday prayer meetings, no potlucks, and cottage gatherings in members homes. The church leans Nazarene/Wesleyan roots and supports a family of six with his machinist job at Talley Industries.

The pre school runs Monday Wednesday Friday 9 to 11 30 a m with 30 seats first semester. Tuition 20 dollars monthly plus 5 dollar registration.
