Burglary at Dee Faught Residence Totals 548
A record player, binoculars, luggage, liquor and other items valued at 548 were stolen from Dee Faught at 8334 Glenrosa. The home’s bedrooms were ransacked and police noted the burglary occurred at 9 45 am. A separate break in at a house under construction at 8726 E Angus Dr between 4 30 pm and 5 30 am Thursday yielded a 125 dish washer. Entry method was not determined.

Fire at Karl Hilger residence sparked by cutting torch

Services held for Carlisle at Salt River Church
Carlisle Buickert Carlisle, 37, a native of Phoenix, died Tuesday in Phoenix Indian Medical Center. Services were held this morning at the Salt River Indian Reservation Presbyterian Church at Center and Thomas. He is survived by his father Blain two daughters Doris and Linda Carlisle a brother Clinton and a sister Mrs Elaine Johnson. Burial was in the Salt River Cemetery Sunnyside Mortuary announced.
