Arizona tax booklet errors could trigger incorrect refunds
About 500000 Arizona individual income tax forms contain errors that may cause some residents to receive unwarranted refunds or owe less than due. Five state tax commission employees viewed the form before printing, but the mistakes went unnoticed until a portion of the two million booklets mailed. Residents can avoid the issues by following booklet instructions rather than the form itself, and adjusted bills due to the errors will not incur penalties.
