Wind and hail wreck homes in Scottsdale area
A storm produced strong winds rain and hail across the Valley of the Sun damaging homes along a path south of Thomas Road between Scottsdale and Miller. Roofs were torn off cracked plaster and one rafter pierced a wall causing thousands of dollars in damage. Several residents reported power outages and trees and fences damaged by flying debris.
