Air collision kills six near Casa Grande Arizona
In SACATON Arizona two light planes collided over the desert southwest killing six people. The deceased were George Gomez 68 of Casa Grande Michael Henry Norman 29 and his wife Judith 24 of Altadena California William T O Connor 48 and his wife Thelma of Vestal New York and Norman was a passenger in the Bellanca piloted by Gomez. The collision occurred at about 3000 feet and witnesses saw part of a wing fall from the Piper Comanche 250 piloted by O Connor.

At 6 30 p m a two car crash at Granite Reef and McDowell Roads left three treated and released at Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Raymond Denk 43 of 814 82nd St failed to stop at the signal and collided with Nora Tudan 18 of 32nd St Windsor Conn and two passengers Jonathan Tudan 20 and Rebecca Oliver 18. Denk was charged at the scene with failure to stop for a traffic signal.

A 20 year old waitress alleged she was taken from a Phoenix bar to a Scottsdale tavern where she was struck three times and raped. She then says she was driven back to Phoenix, jumped from the vehicle, fled to a residence, and called police. Investigations are being led by Scottsdale and Phoenix police.

Juveniles Suspected in Warehouse Fire Attempt
Three youths are believed responsible for attempting to start a fire at the Revco drugstore warehouse located at 7101 E. McDowell.
