Floyd Vernon Huffman, 35, of 1822 North 74th Street, was fined 300 and jailed six months in City Court after a jury found him guilty of exposing himself to several young girls on October 22 at Pima School on East Osborn Road. Huffman, who pleaded not guilty, was convicted after a brief 15 minute deliberation. He is married with four children.

Private funeral services are planned for Thursday for Mrs. Josephine Williams Goldwater mother of former Senator Barry Goldwater who died at age 91 in the family home. Barry and his wife cut short a Far East vacation to return home. She helped found a hospital in Show Low and was Arizona’s first registered nurse. She is survived by two sons a daughter 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Josephine Williams Goldwater Hospital in Show Low.
