When is Christmastime really supposed to be
Robert E Harper explores the uncertain dating of Christmas, noting scholars place birth events across January through December and suggesting dates from 4 BC to 7 BC. He discusses December 25 chosen by Pope Julius I in 354 AD, Eastern Orthodox January 6 7, and Armenian January 19, concluding the exact day remains disputed yet festive meaning persists.
