SRP Raises 1973 Water Allotment to Three Acre-Feet
The Salt River Project Board of Governors raised the 1973 water allotment to three acre-feet per acre reflecting a wet fall season. This marks the 22nd consecutive year with the three acre-foot allotment. Reservoirs rose from 26 percent capacity on Oct 2 to 1,326,840 acre-feet, with Lake contents increasing and heavy inflows possible. Roosevelt Lake sits at about half full as snowpack suggests strong spring runoff.
