Fire destroys home on Salt River Reservation
Firefighters from Scottsdale Rural Fire Department battled a wooden three room home half a mile south of Indian School and east of Pima on the Salt River Indian Reservation. The structure valued at 3000 dollars burned with no occupants inside. Cause suspected as an electrical short. A second fire at 82nd Street and Vista Drive caused no damage.
