The citizen advisory list shows 12 sessions today. locations include homes of Ed Roberts, W C Nesselroad, Edmund Becker, Charles Walker, and Hohokam school with varied speakers. Polls run 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at 16 schools. voters can register until polls close.
The Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce and the Scottsdale Real Estate Board endorsed a proposed $5.9 million school bond election set for next Wednesday. The endorsement followed a vote by the chamber board after a health and education committee recommendation.
The Texas Bar Association found Dist. Atty. Henry Wade ethical in discussing the Ruby murder case with reporters. It did not immediately absolve Ruby’s lawyer Tom Howard. The civic advisory panel urged a watchdog group to oversee school building design and construction if a bond issue passes.
