What is a stock specialist and stop and limit orders
A stock specialist concentrates on a single stock or group on one trading post and executes orders for other brokers while maintaining liquidity by trading for own account during gaps. A stop order sells when price drops to a set level to protect profit or limit loss, while a limit order buys or sells only at a specified price. Questions may be sent to Judith G. Rhoades at Copley News Service.
