Boy Slips From High Board at Scottsdale Pool
Eight year old Dean Lynn of 8750 E Vista Dr escaped serious injury after slipping from the 10 foot high board at a Scottsdale pool. He suffered a minor fracture to the left wrist and a chin cut, treated and released at Baptist Hospital. Pool manager Mooney Kong cited attention lapse as cause. A 38 year old Scottsdale man Charles W Stone was bound over to Superior Court for trial on aggravated assault after he allegedly whipped 17 year old Michael A Wood with a bell following a neighborhood argument. The preliminary hearing occurred at 3 30 p m Tuesday in Scottsdale Justice of the Peace Harold R Holcomb bound Stone to answer for trial. Wood received extensive cuts and bruises at Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Stone was freed on 500 dollar bond.
