Motorola and Holiday Inns unveil Inn-Scan 400 system
Motorola Inc and Holiday Inns Inc announce a joint two year research project producing Inn-Scan 400 a modular lodging management system. The first modules Inn-Scan 410 Registration and Room Control and Inn-Scan 420 Housekeeping Control are tested in Hollywood California with plans for 16 more two module installations in 1973 and 15 more in Holiday Inns nationwide.
