The Town of Scottsdale adopts an ordinance annexing contiguous territory described in Exhibit A and mapped for official recording. The measure extends corporate limits, designates the map as official, and declares an emergency for immediate effect.
Malcolm S White mayor of Scottsdale certifies annexation ordinance and attached map adopted by town council. Legal description outlines parcel boundaries along Osborn Road Carnation Circle Poppy Drive and related streets in Ingleside tract with references to section lines and right of way. Town Clerk Dorothy Ketchum witnesses publication notice dated April 27 1956.
Paid advertisement notes Blue Bay Boys Ranch run by Dick Saunders and E J Hargen near Polson Montana on 100 acres with a sheltered mile shoreline on Flathead Lake. Camp offers swimming fishing archery and woodcraft with Indian lore and campfire chats. Early birds receive incentives though camp opens June 25 and enrollment details are via Paters c/o Box BB Scott Fess.
Florence Huddleston president of Scottsdale B and P W Club leads a delegation to the state federation meeting in Yuma April 26 to 28. Irma Maas Grace Buck Milfred Bratzel and others from Scottsdale plan to attend with delegates Margaret Evan Dorothy Waltermeit and Kay Hollar serving on the committee.
