United Press International reports Tucson resident Ellsworth Thompson, 48, died when his crop duster crashed 13 miles south of Colusa California. He was the fourth Arizonan killed in crashes since Sunday, with others including Phil Moloso, 52, of Phoenix found near Twin Lakes New Mexico, and Tucson residents Thomas Miers, 40, and Dorothy Redzinak, killed near the Tsegi Trading Posts on the Navajo Reservation.

Driver dies in mountain crash on South Mountain road
Phoenix man James Michael Atkinson and passenger William D. Taylor were injured when their car failed to negotiate a curve and vaulted 58 feet before hitting an embankment on a South Mountain lookout road. Atkinson died late Monday at Memorial Hospital.
