UPI reports four American aircraft were downed in North Vietnam amid fierce anti aircraft fire and midair collisions. One F105 was shot down near Dong Hoi. two Navy F4B Phantoms collided and sank. a second Thunderchief fell to ground fire. Pilots were rescued or unaccounted as rescue operations continued.

Phoenix Man Robbed of 300 Dollars by Two Women

A Phoenix man reported being robbed of 300 dollars by two women at gunpoint in Scottsdale last night. He said the incident occurred around 9 p.m. near his pickup truck parked at 6621 East Avalon. The assailants, described as in their early twenties, carried small pistols.

Netting stolen from Scottsdale park recovered by police

Scottsdale police recovered a 1500 dollar baseball backstop netting stolen from Clayton Coronado Eldorado Park on April 3. The mossy backstop section was found in a canal pipe two miles east of Pima Road on the Salt River Indian Reservation. No arrests have been made.

Fire hits former cabaret building on Hinton Ave

Rural Fire Department fought a basement fire at the vacant Black Sheep Club on Hinton Ave north of Scottsdale High School. The blaze, blamed on vandals, followed about 20 prior fires there in three years. no damage estimate listed. Additional daytime fires included a truck at Carl Field residence and a car at Scottsdale Road and Main Street with unknown causes.

Charlotte Ayers Kimball 52 of 5838 E Rockridge died yesterday at home after living in the Valley 11 years. Born in Detroit she came from Pontiac in 1957. Survived by husband Albert J, son Ralph J of Phoenix daughter Margaret A Armstrong of Las Vegas sister Mrs Robert Menzies of Scottsdale and a sister out of state. Mayor Graham Granted Uncontested Divorce

Phoenix Mayor Milton Graham and Margaret Elizabeth Graham were divorced in an uncontested proceeding. The mayor, 48, cited excessive cruelty in the suit but called his wife a bad housekeeper during a brief hearing. They wed in El Paso in 1951 and have no children. Alimony set at 300 dollars monthly plus 10 percent of any salary increase.
