Obituary notices report Donald E. Masters 12 died from a motorcycle crash. Services set for Monday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Scottsdale. He is survived by parents, a twin brother Ronald, three brothers, and grandparents. George Mies, 50, maintenance welder for Allison Steel Co., died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He leaves a wife, three sons, a daughter, parents, a sister, and a brother. Services Friday at Green Acres Mortuary with burial there.

Easter Egg Hunt Opens at Civic Center Lawn
Hundreds of youngsters aged 1 to 10 will join the annual Easter egg hunt on the Civic Center lawn for the first time this year. The hunt starts at 10 a.m. Saturday with prizes for the top egg gatherers in five age groups. Eggs were donated by local markets and dyed by Scottsdale Jaycees and the Lagy J's women's group, sponsors.

Police seize drugs in Scottsdale raid on youths
Police raided a parking lot at 69th Street and McDowell Road Thursday at 2 p.m. arresting four youths including a 14-year-old girl. Officers recovered 14 packets of marijuana, five more packets hidden elsewhere, five grams of methedrine, LSDs and a hypodermic needle kit. Russell Webb 20 of Mesa and Casey Sims 17 of Grand Junction Colo were charged with marijuana possession. Michael Harris Pratt 19 of .7620 KE Palm Lane was charged with vagrancy. The 14-year-old girl was sent to the Maricopa County Juvenile Home.
