Services at 2 pm Thursday at Mesenger Mortuary, burial East Resthaven Cemetery. Dr. Algie R. Shreffler, 78, of 4815 N Crystal, a retired physician, died yesterday at Heritage of Camelback Nursing Home. Born in Glasford, Illinois, he moved to Scottsdale from Tavernier, Florida three months ago. He studied at St. Louis University and practiced in St. Louis for 35 years. He was past grand master of a Masonic Lodge and a Shrine member, also affiliated with the American College of Physicians, the American Board of Internists, and the St. Louis Medical Society. He leaves son Bonnie Allen of St. Louis, daughter Mrs. Owen Smith of Paradise Valley, and five grandchildren. services at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Mesenger Mortuary, Greenwood Cemetery burial.
