Literacy Tests for New Voters in Village Centers
Two High School faculty members will administer literacy tests and certificates at the Fire House Fenimore and Post roads and at the Board of Education Room on two registration days. Tests run October 12 13 from 10 AM to 6 PM and 7 PM to 10 PM. October 19 from 8:30 AM to 5 PM at the superintendent's office and 7 PM to 10 PM at centers. October 20 from 8:30 AM to 6 PM and 7 PM to 10 PM. The new voter definition covers those entitled since January 1, 1922 who have not yet voted after proof of reading and writing English.
