Greenville Church to Lay Cornerstone Next Sunday
The Greenville Reformed Church will lay the cornerstone of a new church edifice and school on Ardsley Road near Central Avenue. Services start 9 30 a m at the present church, then move to the new building for the cornerstone at 11. Rev Theodore Brinckerhoff leads with Rev Dr Alvin J Neeves assisting. The church, organized in 1842, has long occupied the Central Avenue structure and faced slow growth as nearby communities expanded.

Albert S. Swanson 60 of 231 Mamaroneck Rd died Sept 21 at his home. A real estate broker and former Scarsdale village trustee and police commissioner, he held multiple local posts and was active in the Boy Scouts and Masons.
