Two seventeen year old boys, Carl Svenson of Berlin New Hampshire and Frederick Knox of Quebec, confessed to three burglaries in Massachusetts and vehicle theft in Port Chester. Scarsdale police stopped them on Fox Meadow Road with tools and jewelry tied to thefts. no link found to Scarsdale burglaries.

At the regular Scarsdale Board of Realtors meeting held Tuesday at the Scarsdale Tavern, officers for 1930 were chosen. Robert C. Turner was elected president, George B. Clifton vice-president, and Morton H. Reed secretary and treasurer. Current officers’ terms run until December 31. Thirty eight elementary pupils are now transported by bus daily from the territory east of the Boston and Westchester railroad. Report Urges Parents To Protect Children From Diphtheria
The Scarsdale schools will continue immunization checks for toxin antitoxin diphtheria treatment. Last year 1612 pupils were counted with 656 immunized, 715 not immunized, 241 with no report across Edgewood Fox Meadow Greenacres and the three elementary schools and high school. Dr. Ralph R. Mrs. R. H. Burcher of Overton Road, a Wayside Garden Club member, won four first prizes, two second, and one third at the American Dahlia Society exhibition in Madison Square Garden.
