Scarsdale Board approves grading contract and nonresident fees
The Scarsdale Board of Education met last Wednesday and awarded the grading contract for the new high school grounds to John Twinaine of Hartsdale. It set nonresident tuition at 75 dollars for high schoolers from New Rochelle Greenburgh and Eastchester and 60 to 65 dollars for grades 4 to 7. Automobile Damage on Post Road Reported
A Pierce Arrow owned by Mrs. J. L. Eddy of Mount Nemost was damaged on the Post Road last Friday at 5 20 p m near Mr. D Gristede s residence. The car suffered axle damage and no injuries were reported. Sergeant at headquarters was notified and Officer J Harrison assisted at the scene to manage traffic while the vehicle was moved and being repaired.
