Scarsdale station design details revealed for Harlem Branch
Plans describe a new Harlem Branch station at Scarsdale with a seventy five foot oak and stucco building, concrete base, multiple rooms, a tile gable roof, a three hundred foot platform, a cinder platform, landscaped grounds, and a steel plate girder bridge twenty one feet above the track. It notes potential Post Office usage and grade elevations on the westerly easterly and southerly approaches. The old bridge north of the station will be raised about four feet.
