Gardener Cleared Of Larceny Charge In Scarsdale Court
Gardener Louis Gangemi of 551 Dobbs Ferry Road was cleared of petit larceny by Police Justice Burchard Dutcher after he allegedly loaded bundles of paper into his car in front of 48 Church Lane during a waste paper drive fundraiser. Attorney Maurice Zuckert argued Gangemi did not realize the drive was in progress and only wanted paper to pack dishes for his daughter moving to Port Chester. Witness Harold Feuer, one of Gangemi's employers, testified to his honesty.
