Democratic Primaries Nominated Town Supervisor and Officials
The Democrats met at Town Hall Tuesday to nominate candidates for town offices. About 45 attendees with 36 voting. constable vote contested but otherwise unanimous. Henry Autenreith chaired, Arthur Hearle clerk, G William Smith and Alonso Beese tellers. David Welsh delivered the address nominating Chauncey T. Secor for supervisor, praising Secor’s service and urging representation for minorities in government.

Obituary: Bernard Hannefield of Scarsdale Dies at 74
Bernard Hannefield longtime Scarsdale resident died yesterday morning at his daughter's home. He was nearly 75 and had suffered three years of illness including two months of dropsy. He leaves a wide family including son Louis Hannefield of Rye and several daughters in Scarsdale, New York, and California. Funeral service set for 2:20 Sunday at St James the Less with interment in Greenville after the service.
