In Scarsdale primaries last Tuesday a total of 56 ballots were cast across five election districts with 38 Republican and 18 Democratic votes. The breakdown by district shows 3 3, 8 5, 20 9, 6 1, and 1 0 for Republicans and Democrats respectively, listing candidates for assembly, Judicial Convention delegates, and county committees. Twenty election inspectors served from noon to nine at five districts.

The men's championship semi finals at Scarsdale Golf Club will be held tomorrow with the finalists to meet on Sunday. Last week’s quarter finals saw W F Barnes beat Geddes one up, Sturges defeat Ham three and two, Reed oust Ludlow one up on the nineteenth, and Eby win from Brown one up on the nineteenth.

Ehmer to accompany Lindbergh on Latin America tour

The Scarsdale Rotary Club clinched permanent possession of the season trophy after a Tamarack Country Club victory in Port Chester. A well dressed young man entered the Scarsdale residence at 136 Brewster Road Friday night between nine and ten. Marion Parham, fourteen, said the intruder claimed they were making alterations and fled after pocketing cigarettes. Parham parents were away. Marion notified police.
