A train leaving Grand Central for White Plains collided with a freight south of the station delaying traffic for four hours. Two passengers from White Plains were injured. Wrecking crews cleared the scene with no blame assigned yet.
Prohibitionists plan a county meeting at St Pauls M. P. Church White Plains on Wednesday June 26. Captain Henry M. Randall of Port is named as the party’s candidate for governor and a slate of nine candidates is expected to attend.
Public notice warns of a draw and interest accrual from October 1st for plains residents with payment due on or before October 3rd.

John Gandell of Kensico Avenue fell from a high pole near the Century Golf Club in White Plains on Monday. He died ten minutes after reaching White Plains Hospital from a broken spine. Previously with the trolley company, he had recently worked for the New York Telephone Company.
