Empty House Burned Blamed on Tramps in Hartsdale
Flames destroyed the vacant West Inwood Avenue residence of Margaret Setz in Greenburg early Tuesday. Police had been driving tramps from the area for weeks and an officer spotted a glow before calling the Hartsdale Hose Company. Firefighters fought a blaze with chemicals due to lack of water but the structure was already gutted.
