Funeral Services Held For Lt. Robert Wise
Private services were held for Lieutenant Robert B. Wise twenty four year old son of Mr and Mrs Harold A Wise of 11 Mamaroneck Road. Wise was killed in action with the 1st Cavalry Division on Leyte Philippines on November 12 1944. An honor guard was provided by the Scarsdale American Legion Post. He was a Scarsdale graduate Culver Military Academy and Brown University attendee. He received posthumous Silver Star and Purple Heart. Survived by parents and two sisters Jeanne M Wise and Betty Lou Wise.
