Fire Breaks in Scarsdale Home Leave Menagerie Revealed
Firemen extinguished an early Tuesday blaze at 412 Saxon Woods Road in Scarsdale within half an hour. Leonard Brook, the resident, reported the fire at about 2 a.m. Investigators found a deer roaming the house and a hidden menagerie including a kangaroo, llama, rabbits, birds and various pets. Brook had been arrested recently in Ossining on cruelty charges. Continued on Page Ten.
