Fresh Air Fund Aided by Seabees
John Reed King hosted an entertainment program for Naval Reserve Seabees at the Herald Tribune Fresh Air Fund camp in Fishkill. Seabees, 130 volunteers, observed Armed Forces Day by donating two days work, saving about $15,000 in labor costs for the Fund per executive director Frederick H. Lewis.
