Inter Sunday School Track Meet Scheduled On School Field
The annual Inter Sunday School athletic meet brings boys and girls from Hitchcock Memorial St James the Less Immaculate Heart of Mary Congregational Lutheran and Greenville Reformed to the high school field this afternoon at 2 30. Events include 50 yd dashes high jumps shot puts relays and tug of war with three contestants per school per event and two events per contestant.

Fox Meadow Doubles Start Memorial Day
Fox Meadow Tennis Club will open the doubles tournament on Memorial Day at 12 o clock after Memorial Day exercises. Entries close Wednesday May 28 with drawing Thursday. The board also admitted seven new members and approved parking changes to create right angle parking near the equipment house. The club will allow weekday practice for the high school tennis team members only.

Scarsdale Men Dominate Leewood Club Officers in Bronxville
At Leewood Golf Club’s permanent organization meeting in Bronxville last Saturday Scarsdale’s representation was strong. George W. Field was elected president while Edward B. Brown Frederick Woolverton and J W McDowell of Scarsdale joined the board of governors. The tour of inspection followed, showing a nearly playable course and a clubhouse partly finished with field stone from the grounds. Members may play May 30 under winter rules.

Sixteen Year-Old Boy Runs Away From Home
Edward Rowe, age sixteen from Post road and Boulevard, left home last Tuesday night after leaving a note for his mother saying he would not return until he had made good. He attended a Catholic private school in New Rochelle and might head to New Haven. Police described him as five feet six inches, 130 pounds, wearing a gray or brown suit, short trousers and a brown fedora. Scarsdale police notified nearby towns and New Haven.

Memorial Day Parade At Scarsdale Post
Five hundred are expected to take part in the Memorial Day parade under the Scarsdale Post of the American Legion. Participants meet at Post headquarters at 9:30 a.m. and march to the high school grounds where Lieutenant Colonel Ross will speak.
