Stewart McDonald of 52 Garden Road was elected president of The Town Club at its annual meeting held last night at the High School, succeeding Allen S. Wilber. He will lead 458 board governors with Walter M. Swertinger named chairman of the new admissions committee. McDonald has long served the club and has ties to Warner Brothers Pictures Inc as vice president and related posts.
