Settlement in LoVecchio Case Returns Officer to Duty
The Scarsdale village board reached a settlement with suspended Ptl. Joseph LoVecchio returning him to duty immediately but denying back pay and benefits for nine and a half months. He admits sleeping on duty and failing to keep records. other charges were dropped. He and counsel call the settlement fair and he aims to be a good officer.
