Scarsdale moves toward a June referendum on a community swimming pool after 1230 families signed up by April 16 to support the bond plan. Non Partisan System Report Sets Vote At Town Club Tonight

The Town Club will vote on a final report proposing changes to election methods aimed at correcting criticisms of undemocratic operation. Mayor Malcolm A. MacIntyre announces a Citizens' Advisory Committee on the Station Area with Trustee Charles Dyson as chairman and Trustee Hartselle Kinsey as vice chairman. Scarsdale to Tow Cars On Popham Road Near Chase Road

The Scarsdale Police will enforce NO PARKING on the northerly side of Popham Road between Chase Road and East Parkway from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. starting May 22, 1967. Vehicles illegally parked or obstructing traffic may be removed with storage costs charged. Turning from Chase and Lockwood will be allowed if two lanes remain open.

Ehret Named District Supervisor of Music in Scarsdale

Walter Ehret, Choral Director at Scarsdale High School, will replace Willard Briggs as District Supervisor of Music for Scarsdale Schools. A Juilliard and Columbia graduate with 20 years in New Jersey and New York, Ehret has led choirs in Carnegie Hall and Jackson Square Garden and authored textbooks used nationwide.

Art dealer indicted over forged works by masters

John E. Marqusee of Kensington Road described a general suspicion in the art community as 32 year old David Stein was indicted in New York City on charges tied to painting 41 oils watercolors and gouaches as Chagall Picasso and Matisse works and selling them for 165000 to 12 dealers and collectors.
